Amcsti has been asked by the French Ministry for National Education, Higher Education and Research to be Horizon 2020 Science with and for Society programme National Contact Point.
What is it ?
In the context of Horizon 2020, the 8th EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, the European Commission asks each country taking part in this programme to set up a network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for each section of Horizon 2020.
In France, the Ministry for National Education, Higher Education and Research, in charge of building the French NCPs network, entrusted Amcsti with the mission of being NCP for the section Science with and for Society (SwafS) of Horizon 2020.
What do we do ?
NCPs are in charge of giving personalised support to Horizon 2020 applicants. To carry out our mission, we :
Inform
We organise and participate in Horizon 2020 national or local infodays in order to promote the Science with and for Society section and raise awareness among stakeholders.
Communicate
We publish all the latest news, informations about calls and upcoming events on horizon2020.gouv.fr, the national portal dedicated to the programme.
Advise
We guide applicants regarding administrative procedures and contractual issues. We also inform stakeholders about other European or national funding opportunities more likely to address their needs.
Network
We help you to find partners from any Horizon 2020 participating countries and can assist you in networking.
Support
We provide assistance on proposal writing, re-reading and submission.
Looking for support in your own language ?
NCPs are established in all Member States and Associated Countries to Horizon 2020, but also in many non-EU and non-associated countries.
SiS.net is a network which gather more than 70 NCPs specialised in supporting the Science with and for Society section of Horizon 2020. Its aim is to improve the quality of the service delivered in each country. Within SiS.net, NCPs exchange good practices and share partners search forms from national stakeholders looking for European partners to answer a SwafS call.
Visit the European Commission website to find who has been appointed in your country.
